Vintage photo exhibit comes to Santa Monica Place

Who Wants To Sleep On a Pillow 1941

I love vintage! It doesn’t matter if it’s clothing, furniture or cars, there’s just something boss about timeless pieces that captivate me. Perhaps it’s the nostalgia, or the fascination with quality craftsmanship that seems to have all but disappeared these days.

That’s why I’m cranked about this new photography exhibit at Santa Monica Place called “Sun, Sand, Sea,” running from June 3 through July 3. #SunSandSeaExhibit

It features vintage photographs taken on iconic beaches of Santa Monica and Venice, curated by Branded Arts. There are also original works from street artist Hueman, which bring a contemporary element and plenty of color to this mostly black-and-white show.

The official launch is this Sunday, June 5, 2016 where Hueman will be painting LIVE. There will also be music, a vintage photobooth and more during COAST, Santa Monica’s first open streets event. The art opening runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Santa Monica Place, ground floor just off Fourth Street.

Hope to see you there!
