On September 17th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., local residents, intrigued tourists, curious students and downtown enthusiasts will gather at the historic Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club at 4th & Wilshire in Santa Monica for an evening featuring guest speakers who will educate and entertain listeners with the detailed history and bright future of Third Street Promenade with the 25th Anniversary Symposium.
Featuring a panel of Santa Monica historians, Third Street Urban Planners, as well as an address by the CEO of Downtown Santa Monica, Inc., Kathleen Rawson, the Symposium will shed light on the success of the international phenomenon that has redefined the “downtown” model for cities around the world, truly earning its tagline: Created Locally. Celebrated Globally. Learn about the past, present and future of Third Street Promenade at this free evening event for all.
