Downtown Santa Monica’s Spring Fashion Guide

Retail Therapy

Now that spring is in the air and on our minds, it’s time we start dressing like it! While Floral is always a no-brainer for the season, it’s not the only wardrobe-must-have that we’ll need.

I styled four chic spring looks and today I’m sharing two of them with you. Whether you’re heading to a wedding, Easter Sunday Brunch, a day at the office, or just out for a weekend of shopping, the Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place Mall have all of the fabulous stores we need to engage our imaginations, and make sure we’re perfectly outfitted for any occasion.

For my first look I wanted something casual and cute for a day of shopping. Since wide leg trousers are all the rage at the moment, I decided to pair mine with a striped crop top and a wide brim hat. I kept the rest of my accessories simple, but added in a black bag with bold gold hardware for a bit more visual interest.

Next, we know that springtime often means weddings galore! If you’re lucky enough to be on the invite list, opt for a glamorous maxi. I paired my flowing green dress with a jeweled clutch, strappy sandals and bold red lipstick.
